Snake Gourds are a vegetable with a waxy green skin, speckled or striped with a lighter shade of green. Similar to a cucumber in flavour, snake gourds are bitter and gelatinous when mature. Best suited for stir frying, baking, boiling, prepare the vegetable like you would Zucchini or baby corn. Sautee it with other vegetables and or chop into some tangy Asian curries for a crisp flavour. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator.
