Ingredients: Cauliflower, Carrot, Onion, Potato & Garlic
Blanche the cauliflower and par-boil the potatoes and carrots. Heat some oil, sauté the garlic and onions and then add the carrots, potatoes and cauliflower. Season to your liking.
Béchamel Sauce - Use 50gm of butter, melt it and add 50gm of refined flour and mix well into a roux. Add 500ml of milk (you can mix this with water in a 60:40 ratio) slowly to the roux and keep whisking till all the milk is added and the sauce is thickened.
Place the veggies in a baking dish and cover the veggies with the sauce. Add grated cheese to the top and bake at 150 degrees centigrade till the cheese melts and browns over.
